Supported living service in Acton
A space is available in a house in Acton which would be ideal for someone with learning disabilities or autism. Perhaps it could be you, or someone you know?
This spacious property is currently home to two men and a woman in their late 50s to early 70s, and they are looking for a housemate around the same age. Ideally, their new housemate would be outgoing and chatty and looking to make some new friends in the house.
Set in a prime location, the high street and several green spaces are just a short walk away, so this vacancy would be ideal for someone who likes to get out and about and will join in on trips to the park and local cafes.
The house
The house is three stories tall and each floor is a self-contained for two people, with two bedrooms and a shared living space including a bathroom, kitchen and living area. The available bedroom is on the middle floor and the living space would be shared with one of the men living there.
The property doesn’t have a lift, so it wouldn’t be suited to someone who needs support going up and down the stairs.
While the house is located close to local parks, housemates can also enjoy the enclosed garden, which has garden furniture and a barbeque.
Support team
The long-standing team have been supporting the housemates in Acton for a number of years already and know the people and the area very well. They are experienced in supporting people with learning and physical disabilities and providing mental health support.
The current arrangements for support are for 24-7 staffing at the house including sleep-in support, so there’s always someone available if needed. All housemates receive person-centred support, which means we work with each person to develop a support plan that is unique and tailored to their abilities and strengths.
