Supported Living vacancy in Pound Hill, Crawley
There is currently a good-sized upstairs room vacant in a property in Pound Hill that would suit somebody who needs support to be independent and would thrive as part of a close-knit group of friends.
There are currently two female people who live here who are in their 30s and 40s, and a gentleman in his 60s. All are very independent, and enjoy getting out in the local area and around the country to visit family and friends.
The house
Crawley Borough Council is the landlord of the property. The house has 4 bedrooms; 1 downstairs and 3 upstairs.
The current vacancy is of a really good size and has recently been redecorated. The available bedroom is upstairs however, so will not be suited to a wheelchair user or someone with reduced mobility.
Elsewhere in the house, there is a wet room downstairs and a bathroom upstairs. The sunny conservatory to the back of the house is used as a communal dining area, and there is also a modern kitchen, a laundry room and a lounge.
Outside, there is easy parking and a lovely garden which everyone really enjoys spending time in. It’s really close to some shops, sports clubs and transport links including Three Bridges train station, so it’s perfect for someone who enjoys getting out.
The support
United Response is a national charity that provides the support at the house, and our experienced team of support workers has worked there for a long time.
The current arrangements for support are for 24-7 staffing at the house including sleep-in support, so there’s always someone available if needed.
Person-centred support is at the heart of everything we do here – this means that our experienced managers will develop a support plan that precisely matches support with each person’s strengths, abilities and ambitions.
Expressions of interest
It’s really important to United Response to protect the privacy, safety and rights of everyone who lives at this location.
