Claire Steel, a Project Researcher for United Response’s Disability Hate Crime research project spent time with Dr Mark Brookes, a well-known Hate Crime Campaigner in the UK. They chatted about the issues that are front of mind for people who are victims of disability hate crime.

United Response has partnered with the Motability Foundation on a groundbreaking research project, focusing specifically on the lived experience of those disabled people who have been victims of DHC on public transport. A team of disabled researchers has come together to create a first-of-its-kind survey to generate new insights into the issue.
