Film review: Creed III
About the film
Released in March 2023, Creed III is a sports-drama film starring Michael B. Jordan as heavyweight boxer Adonis Creed. It’s part of a follow-up series to the Rocky films. In the film, Creed has to fight his childhood friend and former boxing prodigy, Damian.
Here is Paul’s review:
I went to watch this film because I am a big fan of the Rocky movies. I like boxing – it’s a good sport to watch, it’s very exciting!
In the film, there are two big championship fights for the main character, Adonis Creed. The daughter of the family has a hearing impairment, and Creed’s wife is losing her hearing.
The daughter was small. She wasn’t confident but she was trying to be strong and fierce. I think they did a good job. The acting was good, the sign language was alright.
I liked Creed III, however it could have been better. I enjoyed the first two Creed movies more than this one.
It should have been longer, the movie was an hour and a half which was too short. If it was longer they would have more time for the fights to be better, but the music was good.
But I enjoyed it and enjoyed being out because I spend a lot of time indoors. I like being in the cinema. Watching movies makes me feel happy.
I’d give Creed III 4 out of 5 stars.
If you haven’t seen it, it’s well worth a watch.
