Meet Matthew, one of the people behind Our Life Stories.
My name is Matthew Campbell and I have worked for United Response for 10 years. I completed a degree in Youth Work in 2018 but found my passion working with people with learning disabilities.
I am the oldest of 11 children and have 2 beautiful nephews and one adorable niece. I have a tortoise called Hercules and a lizard called Eric. I enjoy going to the cinema and gardening in my spare time.
During my time at United Response, I have worked in a number of positions. I am now the manager of The Enterprise (our activity hub) in Richmond and our community support team. For the Our Life Stories project, I am leading the south team. We will be conducting interviews across the south region as well as collecting resources that will be used in the exhibitions. I am very proud to be a part of this project as it gives a voice to those we support. It allows all involved the opportunity to share their history and life stories.
