Ali has worked across the third, private, and cultural sectors. Although in different sectors, she uses her communications, influencing, and engagement skills to build brands and champion good causes. She has spent the last seven years in social care and, during that time, has led ambitious communications, marketing, policy, and fundraising teams

As a fierce disability ally and advocate, Ali is passionate about ensuring disabled people’s lived experience guides and shapes her work. She is proudly the chair of the Cabinet Office’s North West Regional Stakeholder Network, which shapes the work of the Disability Unit.

Outside of work, Ali volunteers with and supports small grassroots asylum seeker and refugee charities. She is a member of the Chartered Institutes of Marketing (CIM) and Public Relations (CIPR) and is a CharityComms mentor.
