Ian Robinson

Ian has spent much of his career in Education as a teacher, lecturer, and administrator in schools, FE Colleges and Universities.
He was the Programmes Director for a training organisation providing distance learning degree and postgraduate programmes on behalf of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD).
Ian was most recently the Chief Executive of the University of Bath Students’ Union, which provided training, development and volunteering opportunities as well as representing the interests of the student community in Bath. Ian was appointed Lead Auditor for the National Union of Students (NUS) and was responsible for the quality assurance of the governance arrangements, activity and impact within its member Unions.
Ian has been a Mentor to Chief Executives of charities within the Carers Trust network and is currently supporting the development of emerging leaders in the Bath region as part of the Bath Future Talent Programme.
Ian was a Trustee of The Hub Yeovil, a regional centre for the support and development of adults with learning disabilities and helped to cement its role within the local and wider community.
Ian has a daughter in Supported Living – she is currently supported by a United Response team in Somerset.
