Steve has a son with Down syndrome which has led to him having a considerable interest in developing the skills of people with learning disabilities and physical disabilities. He has acted as Chairman of the Down’s Syndrome Association and also as a Trustee of both special and mainstream schools and colleges.

Professionally, Steve spent the majority of his working life in senior executive positions within the automotive industry. He now acts as a consultant to support businesses facing challenges in today’s complex marketplace.
