This guide is for anyone who needs to buy social care support for themselves or a friend or relative (an adult or a child).

It aims to help you learn what to look for when choosing a support provider and the questions to ask in developing and paying for the support you need.

It has been developed by VODG – the Voluntary Organisations Disability Group – a membership organisation which provides support to charities and not for profit organisations that work with disabled people, and promotes best practice.
