As Head teacher of ROC College, I’m delighted to introduce you to our model of Post-16 education – In your community, not the classroom.
ROC College takes an exciting and innovative approach to learning and skills development, offering flexible and personalised learning opportunities connecting you with your local community. The curriculum is specifically tailored to meet your needs and learning outcomes.
We believe that learning and growth happen best in your local community. Once you join ROC, we’ll develop a tailored learning programme based on your goals and the needs outlined in your EHCP. That learning will then occur in various community environments best placed to deliver your short and long-term outcomes.
Some students wish to progress their skill development to further training, education, and/or employment. Others wish to develop skills to help them live independently and participate in their local community.
Within all learning programmes, ROC College recognises the importance of gaining excellent social skills and confidence, which helps individuals progress positively in life.
