The bungalow is currently home to two women and a man, all aged 50+, who are looking for a new housemate. This vacancy would be perfect for an adult with profound needs who requires 1:1 consistent support.

Everyday the team aim to take all of the housemates out – whether that’s to pick up some personal shopping or fun activities such as going to day centres, attending a singing groups or trips to the seaside.

The team also love decorating the home for the different festive seasons, which all of the housemates enjoy.

The property

The bungalow is wheelchair accessible so would be well suited for someone that needs support getting around the house. There are ceiling hoists throughout and a specialist profiling bath and a separate shower room.

The bedroom that’s available is nicely decorated and the kitchen has recently been renovated. The home has a dedicated sensory room where housemates can relax to the twinkling lights.

The garden is also wheelchair accessible and there are some out buildings which housemates make the most of in the warmer months.

The property has ample parking so if the new housemate had their own car this wouldn’t be a problem. This isn’t a necessity though as there is a bus stop a minutes’ walk away, and plenty of shops and cafes nearby.

Support team

The long-standing support team offer around the clock personal care and support with daily needs. The team are able to support a new housemate with complex needs and daily care. A member of the team is awake throughout the night to make sure there’s always someone around when housemates need it.

We focus on person-centered support, so that means we will customise a care plan according to what the new housemate needs to make sure they can achieve their own personal goals.
