About the programme

We’ve teamed up with Home Group and DFN Project Search to provide supported internships in Newcastle for autistic young people and people with learning disabilities aged 17 to 24 years old.

Roles on offer include: office administrators, front of house hosts and events and facilities assistants.

Interns will be given support through ‘on the job’ coaching from a tutor whilst on your placement, with the ultimate goal of paid work and independence.

A supported internship can help you to develop your:
